My take on the Music Industry

Music is a wonderful thing.

It has this magical ability to bring people together in ways few others can.  There’s this feeling that cannot be matched when you sit with someone, just listening to an album that you both love together.  It can capture and create emotions and memories better than pretty much anything on this world.  In fact, there is an intensely successful industry pumping out song after song on almost a regular basis.  That being said…

Don’t be that kid.  For God’s sake, don’t be that kid.

WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER

I won a major award.  No.  Not really.  I won the Liebster Blog award, which from my vast knowledge of German (Three years in high school and rapidly fading away), means something around the lines of "lovely blog."  There are a few rules that go with thi-OH MY GOD WHO IS PLAYING THE DUBSTEP DOWN THE HALLWAY THE VIBRATIONS ARE RATTLING MY BRAIN AND TURNING IT INTO A SLURPEE

College is annoying sometimes.

Anyway, I won this blog contest thingy, but it's less of a contest, and more of a promote-y thing to help bloggers that don't have many followers to get a little extra attention.  And as I am an attention whore, well, this is wonderful for me.

So now, I present to you, direct from the hands of Aqsa over at Mischief Managed, my super-shiny awesome excellent award.

Not gonna lie, this is probably the most adorable picture on the entire page.

Kind of a Shitty Story

When I was a kid, I recall being not only easily impressed, but incredibly easy to fool with false knowledge.  For example, when I was in Kindergarten, I overheard someone say that boys pee yellow and girls pee white, so when I went to the bathroom that night after drinking a big glass of milk and had clear urine in the toilet, I cried at the thought of being a girl.

For like an hour.
